Empowering Your Business: Unveiling the S.O.S Shop

Embrace Intention-Driven Success

One of my goals for the new year is to be more intention-driven.

To focus more on what I WANT to do, not what I “should” be doing.

To make a plan of action and execute it that’s based on goals, and numbers we need to hit to keep the lights on, not on what I am feeling that week. (Don’t worry, there’s a place for those feelings, but more on this later).

Tools and Support for Your Small Business Journey

The point of my ramble and loose list of plans for 2023 is this: I want a year filled with action steps, planning and purpose because that’s what gets me excited to sit down at the desk in the morning and that’s what we ALL need running our businesses: Help.

Running a business is hard, lonely and full of so much decision fatigue. The buck stops with you.

The underlying bedrock of why Anchorlight is even is a thing is:

I wanted to help women in business with the tools, systems and setups that I personally use and that I know actually help.

I don’t want to throw around words like “support”, but I want to encourage us all to roll up our sleeves, shut down the Slack channels and do the work.

Head down, straight up. Just do it.

But I get it. That is difficult. We’re all stretched so thin and honestly, we just need a plan. That’s what I hope our store provides you with. A plan, someone to talk to if you need it, some help and an easier lift for all the things you need to do and hats you need to wear in your small business.

My advice for the new year? Stop beating yourself up for what you DIDN’T do this year, and make a list of everything that went RIGHT and do more of that in the new year. Small steps. Starting somewhere is better than not starting at all.
